"The Bloom of Spring"
-- Charity Lacroix

"A Tree by the Water"
-- F.R., girl, age 11
"He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers." (Psa 1:3)

"Like a Mustard Seed"
 -- F.R., girl, age 11

"He presented another parable to them, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come and NEST IN ITS BRANCHES.'" (Mat 13:31-32)

"A Brush with Life"
 -- F.R., girl, age 11

"Your lovingkindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; Your judgments are like a great deep. O LORD, You preserve man and beast. How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light." (Psa 36:5-9)

"As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever." (Psa 125:2)

 "God Cares"
-- C.R., boy, age 8

"'Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?'" (Mat 6:26)

 "God's Creation"
-- C.R., boy, age 9

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Gen 1:1)

"In the Garden"
by Lea in 2022*

*"In the Garden" painting: Our daughter Faith shared that one of her coworkers gave her a gift that really blessed her. The gift is a painting this lady created (pictured above). The lady is a sister in Christ that recently took up painting as a hobby. But when Faith brought the painting home and showed us, we could see it was very beautiful and that this lady is very gifted by the Lord with artistic talent. The painting is good enough to be in an art gallery, and she gave Faith the original.

She told Faith that when she did the painting, she was picturing herself in the bottom right corner on a rock spending time with the Lord with the water cascading down across the rocks above her.  It is based on the hymn called "In the Garden" that says, "I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses." The gift of the painting really touched Faith's heart, especially because of the kindness of this lady, and how much the painting meant to the artist.

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"
